New Nokia N808 beats Nikon D800 on paper?

Nokia announced their new N808 41 Megapixel camera phone recently and
has not (yet!) abandoned Symbian.
Nokia proves it by announcing the N808 smartphone equipped with the latest OS version.

There's a lot of hype about this N808, particularly because of its photo sensor that has no less than 41 megapixels.

The main advantage of this great Nokia N808 PureView smartphone (12.4 x 6 x 1.4 cm) is its 8 megapixel sensor and its Carl Zeiss lens (with 3x digital zoom for photos). A sensor that can take pictures up to 41 megapixels (7728 x 5368 pixels) by interpolation.

So, does it even compete with the likes of Nikon D800 cameras? Obviously not, but it does provide a lot of imaging power (more then any other cam-phone)in your pocket.

After all "the best camera is the one you have with you".

I will be testing one of these N808 phones soon and comparing image output with some Nikons and Canons on the market.
