Equipment choice is always important when going travelling. Many things must be considered before you leave such as:
Packing space
Weight
battery requirements (rechargeable or not)
Lens reach (18-55 or 18-105 or other)
Legs (tripod) or do you not need it?
Weatherproof bags or cases
