Alternative uses for your monopod

Having a monopod handy can be a life saver. Not just because you can get a steadier shot without using the three legged time consuming version or supporting your 5kg 800mm 2.8 beast.

Lets look at some alternative uses.

Some things you can do are:

• Support your bed height while lifting it to retrieve old cookies and batteries from under it
• Fight off 3 or more muggers while out walking with your camera
• Reach the brake pedal from the back seat of a car if you dont enjoy your friends driving
• Turn your television off or on if your remote is broken
• Change the angles of security cameras if you are about to do something naughty
